AMA Charter # 1677
York County Flyers is an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered club dedicated to the hobby of building and flying radio controlled model aircraft. Our flying field is located near York, South Carolina. Visitors and guest flyers are always welcome; we are usually flying weather permitting on Saturdays and Sundays. Membership is open to anyone of with an interest in the hobby. Safety is a primary concern. All of our 80 or so members are also AMA members and are pledged to follow the club’s safety rules of AMA.
