Our annual all-electric fun fly-in fund raiser for Hospice is coming up Nov 8th. Saturday noon events include full contact combat, a speed challenge, and a limbo contest. Winners get bragging rights for a year and a hat to prove it. YCF pays all expenses of the event so 100% of all donations, pilot registration fees, raffle receipts, and concession revenues go to Hospice.
Keith and Brent are hosting a Friday evening informal night-fly and sleep over at the field for anyone interested. We have water, 110v ac, and porta-potties, but no hookups.
Pilot registration of $10 includes a raffle ticket for all prizes. Pre-registration available on the web site. DX9 radio will be pulled first and winner must be present to win. Corporate sponsored prizes will be raffled off without having to be present to win and additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the field. Remember -- 100% goes to Hospice, and it's all tax deductible.
So dust off that speed burner, sharpen up your low-fly skills, and bring that warrior spirit to the field on November 8th. Come get some of that exceptional Good BBQ and have fun helping a great cause (and maybe take home a sweet radio or other sponsored prize).
