Hobby Park Second Harvest Food Bank Benefit.
On Saturday, September 8, 2018, the Hobby Park RC Aircraft Club will hold its fourth annual Winston-Salem Miniature Air Show to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina.
Over the years, we have raised thousands of dollars and collected hundreds of bags of nonperishable food items.
Our continuing success depends largely on how large a crowd of spectators we can attract. Simply put, the more pilots and airplanes we can promise will perform in the Air Show, the more spectators will attend and contribute food and money.
So, I would greatly appreciate it if you would electronically distribute the attached "hold the date" flier to your club members. I will be providing several more fliers over the summer with more specific details concerning landing fees, raffles, location, etc.
By the way, it's our club's tradition to cover all the expenses involved in staging this event so that all contributions, both food and money, pass straight through to Second Harvest.
